    Are monocular really covered by the lifetime warranty? When I downloaded the user manual for the Endurance ED, it says 10 year warranty in Europe (I'm pretty sure the UK is in Europe even if not in the EU!). The same Endurance ED binoculars user manual says lifetime warranty in the UK. Not your fault, but the literature is really not very clear.

    bought a used starblast 4.5 with the laser finder. Bought a used xt8 without a finder. Appreciate the tutorial sir. It almost appears that by design the laser finder bracket can be reversed to turn into a dovetail but the screws get in the way. Perhaps once upon a time they were designed as such but the thinking has been lost and the bracket is now too short and too close to the screws to accommodate.

    Hi - I have the eyepiece in question & am trying to figure out how to remove the eyecup as the instructions are not correct. In your vid, you say 'twist it the other way', but it's too fast for me to figure out what is happening. With my eyepiece, twisting it clockwise raises it and twisting it anticlocwise lowers it. There does not seem to be any other way of twisting it. Thanks for any advice you can give.

    • @44messier
      @44messier 2 місяці тому

      As per a few of my earlier videos, they were a bit carp. Easy to follow if you do as you see and not what I say. Basically carry on twisting anti-clockwise once screwed back in. I did a fresh video on the same subject which I hope is easier to follow . By saying screw it the other way, this means the opposite way to twisting in out ua-cam.com/video/d5l8J0SqFTc/v-deo.html

      @@44messier Many thanks for your reply - however, I have already tried that approach. When screwed back in, the eyecup cannot be twisted any further in an anticlockwise direction. At least not without applying a possibly destructive degree of force. I did manage to remove the eyecup once, but it wasn't by that method & unfortunately I cannot remember what it was I did.
